Mark Johnson (BSc, MRTPI, MRICS) has over 25 years’ experience in the Town Planning and Development sector. Prior to establishing Johnson Mowat, he was Managing Director at Johnson Brook and Head of Planning at Dacres Commercial. Other roles have included North of England Policy Manager for the Home Builders Federation and Area Planning Manager with UK Coal.


He has extensive experience of project managing major house building, mixed use, leisure and environmental projects and has worked with all of the volume house builders, strategic land and property developers. Mark has established a role and reputation as an expert witness for Planning Appeals with a 90% plus success rate.
